US dollar transfers to Thailand need the same discipline as any currency route: compare the provider rate against the mid-market rate, then include the visible transfer fee and any receiving-bank cost.

What to compare

Check ACH, debit card, wire, and bank-transfer funding separately because the same provider can price each method differently. Delivery speed, verification requirements, and transfer limits also matter, especially for rent, tuition, family support, or larger planned moves.

Where to start

Use the USD to THB converter to check the reference rate, then compare current provider quotes directly. If a quote is far from mid-market, the spread is doing the expensive work.

For larger transfers, check whether the provider supports rate alerts, transfer limits, and documentation before you need the money to arrive.

Method note

The Baht uses mid-market rates as the neutral baseline and separates provider rankings from affiliate relationships. See the methodology for how comparisons are built.
